PET Release Film is a critical functional material composed of a high-quality polyester (PET) film substrate coated with a precisely controlled layer of silicone release agent. Its primary function is to provide a temporary, protective, and non-sticking surface for pressure-sensitive adhesives (PSAs) during manufacturing, storage, transportation, and conversion processes. The film allows for clean and easy release of the adhesive product (like tapes, labels, or adhesive sheets) when needed, without leaving residue or damaging the adhesive. It is widely used across industries including label and tape manufacturing, graphic arts, electronics, medical, and composite materials.
