Product Description

Product Description

PET Release Film

PET Release Film is a critical functional material composed of a high-quality polyester (PET) film substrate coated with a precisely controlled layer of silicone release agent. Its primary function is to provide a temporary, protective, and non-sticking surface for pressure-sensitive adhesives (PSAs) during manufacturing, storage, transportation, and conversion processes. The film allows for clean and easy release of the adhesive product (like tapes, labels, or adhesive sheets) when needed, without leaving residue or damaging the adhesive. It is widely used across industries including label and tape manufacturing, graphic arts, electronics, medical, and composite materials.

Advantages

1. High Dimensional Stability:Resists stretching/shrinking, no deformation at high temps, ideal for precision die-cutting.
2. Excellent Mechanical Strength:Tear/puncture resistant, no film breakage during high-speed processing.
3. Outstanding Temperature Resistance:Withstands -40°C to 200°C (short-term), compatible with SMT reflow soldering.
4. Controllable Release Force:Light/medium/heavy release options, adaptable to various adhesives.
5. Ultra-Low Silicone Transfer:Residue-free release (RSR>95%), preserves adhesive properties.
6. Chemical & Corrosion Resistance:Resists solvents, oils, acids, and alkalis.
7. Smooth & Flat Surface:High-transparency/matte finishes available, enables bubble-free lamination.
